Vlog 26 – Blooming Wonderful Wombs - My Womb Story
In her excellent book, Anita is certain that her cancer arose from a combination of fear of cancer and pleasing people. She tried many diets and consumed supplements to avoid cancer, then she still got cancer.
I learned through reading Anita's books and her quiz that I am an empath. This explains my desire to fix the world and probably why I have launched several charitable initiatives. As you know, the slogan for Blooming Wonderful Wombs is: Healthy Womb, Healthy Mind and Healthy Soul.
Thanks to Anita sharing her story, I have decided to focus on mental and spiritual health for the time being. Alongside reducing oestrogens to keep our bodies in balance, I'm positive this is a winning combination.

Story so far. I had a biopsy at Worthing Hospital on 22nd June 2020 after a biopsy revealed a thickened endometrium and a small ovarian cyst. The NHS so far, has been amazingly efficient and I had my biopsy within 4 days of visiting my GP.
Facebook could have saved my life because, on a closed menopause group, I reported a year of no periods then bleeding, and a lady advised that I should see my GP! Anyway, although the biopsy reported no cancer, it did show that the thickening was being fed oestrogen from somewhere. The consultant wants me to have a mirena coil and a further biopsy in three months. From the research I've completed on the mirena coil, it scared the hell out of me. It suggests the coil can cause liver damage and intercranial brain damage! Further research suggests that the oestrogen is being fed from foods I eat and products I use which contain xenoestogens (foreign oestrogens). As I prefer to get to the heart of the matter, from the inside out, I made a proposal to the consultant - would he accept that I choose a natural low oestrogen route for 3 months to see if I can reduce the thickening and oestrogen? This journey shares the foods, cosmetics and products I avoid!
I started a new #vlog tonight. A #endometrium biopsy revealed excess #oestrogen in my womb. Thankfully no #Cancer but thickened #endometrium. I'm on a #3monthchallenge to a #healthywomb #naturalhealth #banxenoestrogens #NHS #NHSheroes #female #wombstories

Staying dry and safe in hot weather
What a perfect weekend to test womb safe deodorants. Some of you may know that I had to chuck my favourite Sure and Dove anti-Antiperspirants in the the bin because they contain hormone disruptors.
Sure Women Advanced Protection, Pure Fresh Anti-perspirant Deodorant Roll On 100ml contains:
Aqua, Aluminum Zirconium Tetrachlorohydrex Gly, PPG-15 Stearyl Ether, Steareth-2, Parfum, Steareth-21, Disodium EDTA, Pentaerythrityl Tetra-d-t-butyl Hydroxyhydrocinnamate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Hydrated Silica, Gelatin Crosspolymer, Cellulose Gum, Sodium Benzoate, BHT, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Benzyl Alcohol, Benzyl Salicylate, Citronellol, Geraniol, Hydroxycitronellal, Limonene.
Danger point! Anything listed under Parfum or Fragrance does not need to be listed!
Ingredients highlighted in bold are not listed in full on Endocrine Disruptor website.
I can only find “Aluminium” so I need to do more research on this. Aluminium is listed as a danger ingredient on endocrinedisruptor.org. I have found Aluminum Zirconium listed on Drugbank – it blocks your pores and stops them sweating basically, so stopping your body from doing something it is designed to do. So I’m avoiding it.
Weleda citrus deodorant
I have found Weleda citrus deodorant ingredients which basically covers up the smell if you sweat. It’s one I would wear at home until I’ve tested it more and I can tell you it stings when you spray it on after you shave. Again it has the dreaded ‘Parfum’ ingredient so I am finding out what is in here.
Ingredients. INCI: Alcohol, Water (Aqua), Fragrance (Parfum)*, Lemon (Citrus Limonium) Oil, Limonene*, Linalool*, Geraniol*, Citral*, Farnesol*. *from natural essential oils .
