Cosmetics with hormone disruptors

Cosmetics, hair and skin care with xenoestrogens which are harmful for our wombs

Since my biopsy, I went through my make-up bag and bathroom cabinets, and checked the ingredients against three websites. The cosmetics and skin care products in this photo are all the items I’ve had to stop using. Gutted! The worst offenders for Xenoestrogens in cosmetics are L’Oreal and Rimmel. The brands that have upset me are Simple and Johnson & Johnson because they deceive us into thinking they are pure and innocent when they are far from it. The ingredients are also far too small to read properly, I had to take a photo and enlarge it to read the ingredients.

As you will see the names are very long and difficult to read! Basically I was trawling across lots of different websites and I have. have brought all the information together to make it easier to search for products. The above links are American so not all the UK products are listed. I hope to build a database of safe and unsafe cosmetics for us wonderful women to protect our wonderful wombs.

Dangerous cosmetics for wombs

Face powders with xenoestrogens

  • So far I have  have noticed that Titanium Dioxide and Talc are the danger products in most face powders.
  • Titanium Dioxide is found in the earth’s crust. You would think it would be fine, but it is a carcinogenic in loose powders and a hormone disruptor.
  • Check your face powder is safe on EWG and Endocrine Disruptor Website.
  • Then send them to me so I can keep this website up to date, and we can help other women to stay safe.
  • Talc has been known to contain asbestos. Johnson & Johnson currently have thousands of lawsuits against them for asbestos related illnesses. “Studies have found that the use of talcum powder in post-menopausal women increases their chances of developing endometrial cancer by 21-24% depending on the frequency of usage of talcum powder. Regular usage of talcum powder correlated with a higher chance of developing  uterine cancer”. (Source: https://mesowatch.com)
